Nakeya Bell (she/her/hers) is the Executive Director and is deeply passionate and committed to creating spaces for girls, women, and femmes of color to learn, connect, heal, and TAKE UP SPACE, EVERYWHERE!
A proud South Central, Los Angeles native, her love for her city inspires her every day to work hard and give back by empowering youth to lead and make the change they want to be and see in their communities. Nakeya is also a proud wife and mama of two brilliant girls. She enjoys rest, cinematic adventures, brunch with her girl squad, and trips to the ocean with her family.
Program Manager
Shakeya Bell (she/they) is the Program Manager for iQSQUAD, a HER Movement based in Sacramento, CA. iQSQUAD is responding to the need for safe, inclusive spaces for girls and women of color to connect, learn, and celebrate the power of women and sisterhood.
Shakeya has a passion for empowering young women of color to be unapologetically themselves by celebrating each individual's interests, creativity, and personality. Shakeya is deeply committed to cultivating leaders to combat issues affecting girls and women of color by providing a healing and safe space and connecting them to opportunities to lead and better their future. A love for street art, music, and her community inspires her every day to work hard to aid in giving voice and power to youth.
